A new demo of our Asterisk Call-flow designer product, SafiWorkshop, is now available! This will probably be the last Alpha release of the product before a beta demo complete with standalone server is released in the upcoming weeks. Many new features are included in this fully functional demo including:
- Fully-integrated database connection and query builder environment. Built-in support for Postgres, MySQL, and MS SQL Server database products is included with this version. The commercial release will have support for many more
- Powerful database-related ActionSteps that make manipulation and integration of database data with your IVR applications simple and efficient.
- Break Points and Fast-Forward features now available during real-time Saflet debugging (only step-debugging was available previously).
- Saflet Validation feature provides visual cues indicating any problems in the current Saflet.
I think these features, particularly the database-related ones, really help to throw the advantages of our product architecture into sharp relief. Integration of Asterisk IVRs with relational databases has never been easier and support for more external services are coming soon including Email, Webservices, and custom app integration.
