I'm extremely happy to announce the launch of our website and Safi's first software offering: SafiWorkshop. SafiWorkshop represents the first of several products we hope to roll out in the next several months. Our goal is to make software that's as easy to use as it is powerful, and we think SafiWorkshop is a strong step in the right direction. If you're an Asterisk user (or prospective user) I invite you to download our free alpha trial version and give it a run.
In a nutshell, SafiWorkshop is both an Asterisk call-flow/IVR application development environment and a platform for executing those applications (called 'Saflets') remotely. An embedded "mini-server" is included with the development environment for convenient testing and debugging. Future releases will also include a highly-scalable, enterprise-ready standalone server suitable for production applications. I think you'll find SafiWorkshop to be a pleasure to use and hopefully a refreshing change from Asterisk-related software you may have used in the past.
Bear in mind, however, that this is an initial Alpha release and is undoubtedly not bug-free. If you do encounter any I hope you'll take the time to enter them at our bug-tracking site (not-online yet). Or, if you're in need of assistance or have any feature requests or general questions, head to our forums and we'll do our best to be as responsive as possible.
There will be frequent updates and announcements appearing here so if you want to stay informed of the latest developments subscribe to our blog and check the "stay informed" checkbox in the optional registration section of the download page.
Thanks,
Zac Wolfe
